Neglected rental property brought back to life — lawn care, water blasting, fence repairs and general maintenance.
Property Maintenance at Parenga Street, Wainuiomata
The Brief
This rental property had been owned by the landlord for nearly three years with little to nothing done in terms of maintenance. He felt the house needed a bit of work.
What We Did
First, we mowed the lawn and trimmed the edges where there were plenty of overgrown areas. We removed unwanted plants and cut the hedges back to allow for new growth. We then weed sprayed the property to remove unsightly weed growth and prevent future regrowth.
Next, we focused on water blasting the fences, staining then painting the posts to give the property a fresh look outside. Repairs were also made on fencing where some of the wood was warped.
The Outcome
Probably one of the best looking fences and yards in the street. The landlord is extremely happy with the work and has asked us to do more. Stay tuned for part two.
