When it comes to protecting a property from sloped terrain, few solutions are as effective as a well-built retaining wall.
The Challenge
Our client's section presented a significant challenge: a sloped yard showing signs of soil movement and erosion. Without intervention, this causes ongoing damage to foundations, landscaping, and drainage systems.
The Build
We selected high-quality treated timber for its resilience against New Zealand's variable weather. Post holes were excavated and posts set firmly in concrete for maximum stability. Once cured, horizontal timber boards were attached with even spacing and a clean finish. Proper drainage was incorporated behind the wall to allow water to move freely.
The Result
What was once a sloped, difficult-to-manage section has been transformed into a stable, usable space. Our client was delighted with the outcome.
